In welcoming our guests we like to dedicate some time to offering information and the kind of practical tourist advice and tips which can help you make the most of the time you spend here exploring our territory.
We will go over the local maps and the train and ferry timetables with you and offer detailed information about the hiking trails and the best way to visit Levanto, the Cinque Terre and the other villages and landmarks nearby and along the coast. We will help you by offering tailor made suggestions to help you have just the kind of holiday you are looking for.
In our reception area we have set aside an area for a small reference library of guide books and other texts about Liguria, and a collection of fiction in various languages.
We have a convenient underground garage at our guest house where you can safely leave your car.
The garage entrance is 2 metres high, so if you have a van or other tall vehicle we can provide you with a pass for parking in the street.
Garage parking costs 15 € per day.
The pass costs 5 € per day.
If you are travelling by car please book your parking as soon as you can when you book the accommodation as the number of parking spaces is limited.
You should vacate your parking space by 10am on your departure day although you can arrange to leave your car for longer, depending on availability, for a 10 € surcharge.
In our reception area you will find our little bar, ideal for an espresso, coffee, cappuccino or aperitivo or to try or buy some of our selection of local wines and local speciality products.
If you are travelling by train, we will store your baggage on departure day until your time to leave.
The station is a short walk from our guest house.
A little advice:
– if you arrive on Platform 1, exit the station by the main entrance then turn right and follow the road sloping down, this way avoiding the stairs down to the main road.
– if you arrive on platforms 2 or 3, you should go down to the underpass but once there, head to the back of the station avoiding the stairs back up to the station entrance. From the back exit, turn right, then right again and follow the road down into town.
The breakfast buffet is available from Easter through the first week of November and can be booked on a daily basis. It is served at the front desk and in the garden.
In our reception area you will find our little bar, ideal for an espresso, coffee, cappuccino or aperitivo or to try or buy some of our selection of local wines and local speciality products.
We have baby cots which can be put into all the rooms and suites, apart from the Triple room.
You will find these listed in supplements and they can be ordered while booking.
For older children who are restless sleepers we can add high sides to the bed.
In the suites with kitchen facilities we can provide a highchair on request.
Dogs are welcome in our guest house!
Their stay is subject to a 20 € surcharge for the duration.
Dogs are permitted in some of the room types, but not in the Family suite with garden, the Triple suite with garden and the Double/twin rooms with garden view.
For all the other rooms and suites the Pet tariff is applicable which includes the dog supplement in the room charge (a minimum stay is required).
For the comfort of all guests, animals and staff, we request that a few simple rules be followed: dogs cannot be left off the lead in the communal areas, they may not go on the beds, chairs or sofas and they must not be left alone in the room for the whole day.
If you want to take the train and bring your dog with you, please remember that you’ll need a vaccination certificate and a muzzle (as per Ferrovie dello Stato’s rules).
Often when you go on holiday you forget to pack something essential, or you just don’t have space in the luggage.
We have a stock of beach towels and mats, sun shades and rain umbrellas, hiking poles and other equipment. Before running off to buy something you need, please drop in to reception and ask if we have it!
